Issue: Progress Resetting in Case Files for Some Players Following the 4/24/2024 (JST) Update

Thank you for playing MY HERO ULTRA IMPACT.

We have confirmed an issue that caused some players to have their progress in Case Files reset following the 4/24/2024 (JST) update.
This notice will go into detail regarding the circumstances that led to this issue, as well as an item distribution.

■Issue

Progress in Case Files was reset

■Circumstances Leading to Issue

During the development of Special Case 2 "TV Anime 6th Season Retrospective", we had discovered an issue that caused later chapters to be unlocked despite not meeting the unlock conditions.
During the maintenance and update on 4/24/2024 (JST) when Special Case 2 "TV Anime 6th Season Retrospective" was added, the issue that would lead to later chapters being unlocked despite not meeting the unlock conditions was fixed.
In doing so, chapter unlocks now accurately reflects players' current progress.
As a result of chapter unlocks being made to function properly, players affected by this issue will now see chapters that they did not satisfy the unlock conditions for set to a locked state.

Due to the above sequence of events, this ultimately has resulted in some players' progress in Case Files being reset.

Issue where later chapters were unlocked despite not fulfilling unlock conditions

2/24/2023 17:00 to 4/24/2024 11:00 (JST)

For affected players that have had their progress in Case Files reset, you will be able to proceed to later chapters and quests by fulfilling the correct unlock conditions.
However you will not be able to receive any quest rewards previously obtained.

Additionally, we plan on issuing an item distribution for this issue.

■Available To

Players who had made progress in quests that they had not fulfilled unlock conditions for, and still do not meet said requirements when the issue was fixed.
